I believe I need to provide what your digivice can do right? This post will list all known systems available on every digivice, plus some exclusive to certain digivices.
Those are all the known methods of evolving. Maybe there are some hidden, maybe not. Only time will tell.
Available to all:-Music Player: This comes with all the music you listen to, plus a radio called DigiStation, which gives a feed of the events happening in the Digital World at least once per hour.
-News Flash: A module allowing you to watch the news in the digital world no matter where you are.
-Friend List: You can receive another player's Member Address and add it to your Friend Book, allowing you to contact them easily at any time. Please keep track of those in your Tracker.
-Mail System: Being able to communicate with your friends on long distance through emails/instant conversation/digibook. There is also a phone setting you can use. You can use the Mail and phone section for this. You cannot communicate with people you haven't met, unless using the Global Messagin Program offered by Datamon.
-DigiDex: Just like a Pokedex, but with almost every digimon infos. Excludes: Plot-Created Digimons (Like Vandrakemon) and yet-to-be created custom digimons (For obvious reasons).
-Navigation System: A hiker's favorite tool. Allows you to provide a map of the surroundings with as much details as much possible. Can only provide info of areas you have visited or are standing in. You cannot have access to the Dark Area with this map, nor the groups-only zone. Comes with the basic survival kit and a flashlight.
-DigiStorage:This is where your extra digimons are stored. You are allowed to swap 1 digimon per thread, out of battle. Of course, between threads, you can swap the teams you have without problem. Digimons used for Xros Fusion may be pulled from here, as long as your Core Digimon was in your team of 3.
-Inventory:Where every items you get, be it a weapon, cards or panties, are stored. You can access it whenever, wherever you want.
-Almighty Safe Tent: A system that allows you to rest even within the most dangerous zone, but under some conditions. When using this system, it bases itself on the highest level one of your current digimons can transform to and repels digimons of the same level or lower. If an enemy stronger then the defensive capacity of the tent appears... you're toasted. The tent changes size depending how many people are with you and will base itself on the strongest digimon in the party.
-Card Slash: A system that has been installed in EVERY digivices, in multiple manners (Scan the card, slash the card, let your digivice eat the card, whatever) and provides a boost to your digimon or spirit form. Don't forget to refer to the Roleplaying Information for some details on the card system.
-Gate Open: Allows the user, his digimon(s) and his party to warp to a town the user has already visited. Cannot be used to access the Dark Area.
Tamers and Solo Digimon Only:-Digivolution: The original system of digivolution, discovered by the first humans to have stepped into this world. It allows digimons to reach stronger forms, thanks to the tamer's energy and the data acquired beforehand. When wanting to reach the level of ultimate or mega, the use of a Crest, symbol representing yourself, will be required. There are multiple forms of digivolution, all of the known methods will be explained.
-Armor Digivolution: -Locked- The ability to use armor digi-eggs to evolve in a new form. This method has the advantage of being able to be used when regular digivolutions are restricted due to numerous reasons, thus making it a deadly weapon. On Horizon, you are capable of evolving your Armnor forms to higher stages as well as Jogress them. More details in the Armor-Digiegg thread.
-Warp Digivolution: -Locked- Allows the tamer to make his digimon evolve directly to his mega level. Of course, the user must unlock the Mega form to begin with.
-Biomerge: -Locked- Similar to the Warp Digivolution, the difference lies in the fact that the tamer fuses with his digimon to reach a new form. Biomerge can only be used with one digimon at any time (For obvious reasons), requires Mega Data and does NOT restrict the use of the Card System nor evolving/affecting the other digimons in the party.
-Jogress Evolution: -Locked- The capacity to fuse certain digimons to reach a new form, generally a fusion between 2 champions to reach Ultimate or 2 Ultimate to reach Mega or 2 Megas to reach Super Mega. But before using this method of evolution, there are some conditions. 1st, the digimons that are going to fuse must have a bond between each other. 2nd, both must have the data of that level unlocked. THIS METHOD DOES NOT REQUIRE A CREST! But to evolve a jogress, the crest of both parties (Or 2 of the tamer's crest) must be used. Yes, Jogress Digimons can evolve. A Jogress is stronger then a Xros digimon of the same level, so be careful.
-Xros Fusion: -Locked- This will be further explained into its own thread. But in short, this allows the tamer to fuse multiple digimons together in order to give a stronger form. Thus, it is similar to Jogress, yet different, since it takes one core digimon, to which you add multiple digimon parts. The system involved in this will be explained on another thread.
-Xros Up: -Locked- Similar to the Xros Fusion, the difference lies in the fact that this method does not give more strength to your Core digimon, but rather gives it a new method of fighting. It can grant new abilities, new weapons, new limbs and some other bonuses, but that will not allow a Rookie to Become a Champion.
-Berserk Evolution: You remember Dark Digivolution back in the days? It has been discovered that it shouldn't exactly be considered like this, since an influx of positive energy can overload a digimon just as much as negative emotions can. Thus, it has been renamed into Berserk Evolution. Once per thread, in a situation worthy of using this method [Staff will evaluate the timing and all], you will be able to force your digimon to one level over what it is currently capable of, resulting in an uncontrollable digimon, wrecking havoc to everything [No, he cannot suddenly remember who you are and stop attacking you or anything. You're at risk.] This form lasts 5 turns and, upon ending, renders the digimon unconscious.
-Spirit Users only: -Completely Locked--Spirit Evolution: Allows a human to use a Spirit and evolve into a digimon. There is a thread listing the spirits available as well as a few rules, so more details there. Note that there is only one spirit line per spirit. If you wish for your human to have more spirit lines, you should gather more spirits.
-B-ST Evoltuion: The Spirit variant of the Berserk Evolution, although this one is limited only to the Beast Spirit. To explain, for those that did not know, the Beast Spirit holds the spirit of a Beast linked to the element (No shit. Pretty sure everyone guessed that.) . But what happens when a human adopts the mentality of a beast? We get Hulk, without intelligence of course. A wild beast working on instinct and trying to conquer everything. Thus, the human always fights to keep his beast side in check, so that he doesn't go on a rampage. But when he does... There's a huge power increase. Instead of going one rank up, they actually rise one rank and a half (Ultimate+). The B-ST may look different from the Beast Spirit. This form lasts 7 turns and will only trigger in certain situations (Staff Will judge). After the form runs out, the human will be powerless, but not unconscious. He won't be able to transform into any forms though and will rely on his digimon partners (If any). It obviously requires you to have your Beast Spirit.
-Spirit Jogress Evolution: The ability of 2 Spirit users to fuse together in order to give a stronger form. This ability has some restriction: Users must use a Human and Beast Spirit (One user being Human and the other being Beast), or 2 hyper or 2 Ancient/Zeta spirits. You cannot jogress between 2 human spirits or 2 beast spirits. Before the Jogress of a Beast and a Human spirit, both must have unlocked and possess their respective spirits as well as the other rank (The one using Human spirit must have also unlocked the Beast one, etc.)
-Spirit Xros Fusion: Just like the Tamer's Xros Fusion, this will be explained in the other thread.
-Add-on Spirit Fusion: This here holds a difference compared to the Xros Up used by the tamers. While Tamers are limited to using digimons for their Xros Up, Spirit Users can use the Add-on Spirits that they bought in the shop to incorporate it to their forms and giving them new abilities.
-Digivolution: Just like the Tamer's version. Spirit Users can evolve their partners to other stages. The difference lies in the lack of Crest usage. Rather, the digivice seems to be blocking the data influx so long the spirit user did not reach a higher stage, blocking the digimons from becoming stronger then the Spirit user. Of course, like the Tamers, spirit users must buy evolution data for their digimons.
-Warp Digivolution: Exactly like the Tamer's version.
-Jogress Evolution: Exactly like the Tamer's version. But Spirit users cannot be involved in the Jogress (They can't be one of the digimons fusing). The Jogress can evolve, just like the Tamer's Version, but it holds the same requirements as Regular Digivolving with a Spirit User.
Those are all the known methods of evolving. Maybe there are some hidden, maybe not. Only time will tell.
