Species Name: Fluidmon Name Origin: English. Fluid. Level: Rookie Attribute: Data Type: Water Families: Deep Savers, Nature Spirits Globally Available: Not currently. Attacks: > River Bend- Unleashes a torrent of magical water at an opponent, which winds and twists similar to that of a stream. > Shoreline- Power charges up around her limbs, hands, and feet, then lets loose a spiraling charge towards one opponent. Has a variant of spiraling upwards into the air. In addition, the attack has some defense-piercing properties, but at most, only affects defenses equating to 'Champion' level. Two post cooldown. > Ocean's Bond- If a lucky soul were to form some kind of relationship with a Fluidmon, he or she can form a spiritual bond with this digimon. Requiring a ritual dance of sorts to complete the bond, the Fluidmon guides her 'partner' where, upon completion, she and her partner can sense the other's willpower. This bond's power happens in AND out of combat, so long as the partner doesn't die or Fluidmon decides she no longer thinks her partner worthy enough. As for combat effects, Ocean's Bond doubles any ONE ability such as Power or Speed. However, this ability MUST be chosen during the 'bonding process', and cannot be changed unless a new partner is made using Ocean's Bond. If the partner for the bond is of higher level, the ability boost given lowers each step above Fluidmon, ie: 100% > 50% > 25% > etc. > Dance of Soul Savior- To being, this ability is not a combat ability. This ritual dance is essentially an exorcism, to remove powers who possess others for his or her bidding. While useful, this dance typically requires the one being healed to be restrained in some manner, taking a good half hour to complete the ritual. If successful, the being doing the possession is banished out of the healed being's immediate area. However, there are rumors that if Dance of Soul Savior is done with the 'advanced' version, it can remove corruption in a digimon. But the 'advanced' version has been lost to most, even other Fluidmon, and the degree of effect is vastly unknown. Dex Entry: Once a common sight throughout the Digital World, Fluidmon and her variations were known as ritual dancers capable of magic Digimon generally aren't able to do, although specific rituals are known to individuals rather than a species as a whole. More importantly, the Ocean's Bond became the prime factor for attention with these digimon. While the significance behind the ability was meant true relationships, some digimon began to abuse this power. Fluidmon started to be kidnapped, threatened, and other means, and forced to form a bond with their captors and such. This increase in power caused more power struggles, and some wars were due in part to the power of a bond formed with a Fluidmon. The majority of this species eventually was cut down due to combat, fear, refusal to do a captor's bidding, and other reasons. Some Fluidmon and their cousins went into hiding, with this species blocking themselves off from the world entirely. A higher power decided that in order to halt an outbreak of power struggles again, some were required to find a Patron to grant permission to use some of the bigger magics. Even with this restriction, some digimon haven't forgotten the use of these ritual dancing Fluidmon, who elegantly fight on the battlefield unarmed.
